This recipe is one of the winning recipes from the Family Fave Recipe Contest, Canada Beef 50th anniverary contest.

This recipe by Cecil Jayme of Surrey, British Columbia, is a winner of the Family Favourite Recipe Contest held in celebration of the 50th year of Canada Beef. This recipe was passed down from Cecil’s mother, Remy, who loved to cook. Cecil recalls first tasting it 50 years ago! Over the years, cider vinegar, maple syrup and beef bouillon, have been added to give a zesty boost to the beef in this family-favourite meat loaf.
