Notes / Caption
This booklet was originally developed as a collaboration with the Canadian Partnership for Consumer Food Safety Education, to educate consumers about the use of the food thermometer, in response to the need to help consumers cook burgers safely. The artwork was developed by Canada Beef (Beef Information Centre), but the messages were compiled with input from CFIA, Health Canada and partnered commodity groups: chicken, turkey, eggs, beef. CPMA was also involved in the review at one point as part of the Partnership.
